A Beautiful Penetration Effect

This is a very nice penetration effect, with absolutely magnificent props. Every time I obtain an Alan Warner effect, I marvel at the craftsmanship, the sheer beauty of the prop. The presentation, coupled with these enchanting props, makes for a very entertaining piece of magic

A solid Utility Device from Mr Warner!

This is a great drawer box from Alan Warner. One of his earliest works, so it lacks some of the ornateness of his more recent creations. However, as a wonderful and functional drawer box it is superb.

Unlike many drawer boxes there are no outward signs of holes or levers or pins and you don’t need to tilt the box one way or another – it is much cleaner than those methods. Whenever Alan applies his talents to even the simplest of devices he always comes up with something a little better. This drawer box is no exception. In fact, it is so well built that you could have a member of the audience open it up to show the load appear!

If there is a downside with this box, its the size of the load it can hold. It only fits bridge size cards, since in the UK that is the standard size for cards – not those huge Poker sized cards that American’s are so fond of.

Its always bigger in America, especially Texas! But as Alan Warner has repeatedly shown, mini is better and more beautiful!

Simple and Effective Penetration

This clever piece of Mini-Magic represents the completion of my Alan Warner Mini-Magic collection that can be viewed in all its glory $link(http://warner.qualitymagic.com target=_blank,here). It is a old chestnut, and one of Alan’s earliest Teak pieces, but very well made by the master craftsman himself.

In this version there are no funny moves or sleights. The block is loaded, the bar locks the block in place, and then on the command of the magician the block falls!

Its nice to complete the collection Alan, thanks for making it all possible!

Nice piece of coin magic

Beautiful prop and great routine makes this Warner item a winner. Sure, it may get lost in Alan’s other gorgeous pieces but I particularly like the concept of the silver coin moving around the copper coins in an intriguing magical dance.

Another nice piece from Alan

Clever piece from Alan in that the “forcing” is done in a most natural manner that would even fool a magician. The props are beautiful as always and accomplish the effect without any awkwardness. Nice addition to any Warner collection.

Love this straight forward piece

This is one of the simpler effects from Alan but a piece to cherish. Its just gets lost among the other fabulous magic from this genius of a man. Though straight forward in execution, the gimmick is beautifully done and the craftsmanship of the entire apparatus definitely deserves a 5+.

Cute and quite devious

This is a nice little piece from Alan. I always try to figure out the method on any effect I order, but this one surprised me. Not as strong as his other stuff, but then his other stuff is fabulous. I can visualize a very entertaining outcome with just the right presentation. I love teak and this one shows that classic Warner touch.

The Paddle Trick Outdone!

Only Alan can take the straight forward paddle trick and expand it into a beautiful routine where the inlaid design is magically transferrred from the paddle to a previously blank plaque. Again, beautiful craftsmanship that always deserves a 5+ rating!

Beautiful props but straight forward magic

Selected tablet “penetrates” bar locking all tablets in the open ended case. Simple effect but the props are beautiful and nicely finished. Not one of the strongest effects in the Egyptian line but I wouldn’t have left it out!

Simple transposition but great props

The magic is simple – three coins “fly” one by one from one cover to the next. However, I am really impressed by what Alan can do with using wood as the predominant material to perform the magic. The workmanship is impeccable as always. Thanks, Alan.
