To see it is to believe!

Well I waited over 8 months for this, but the wait was well worth it. This is one of the final pieces in the Alan Warner teak collection, at least for now. To see and touch Alan’s magic is really the only way to appreciate the time and effort he spends in every intricate detail of design and construction.

This is certainly one of his finer pieces of craftmanship and the effect is also very clean and surprising. It blends in very nicely with his other Egyptian effects.

I will miss receiving my monthly packages from you Alan, so please start thinking up some more of your wonderful magic!

What a big and beautiful piece!!

This big item from Alan, and I mean big in comparison to the rest of his Mini-Magic line, shows throughout the great quality in woodworking one has learned to expect from Alan. The “double” transformations occur smoothly with no obvious maneuvers to arouse suspicion. What clever idea from the devious mind behind so much great magic! Very Highly Recommended

Ah my good Friend Alan Warner always shows me the money!

Finally, more quality from the marvellous Alan Warner! There have been many versions of the money maker, I have been parital to the $link(http://www.martinsmagic.com/?key=827&html=full,Delben Blotter) and of course $link(http://www.martinsmagic.com/?key=1493&html=full,Owen’s Denver Mint). However, Alan Warner in his usual imagintive style has taken a fairly simple effect made it look beautiful and added the double whammy of the note changing not once but twice. It works cleanly, of course, and is actually quite amazing how he gets the change to work twice without removing or stealing anything away. Very simple to do and a sheer delight to behold.

The Money Maker follows along the same lines of Alan’s recent works – more intricate detail to the boxes, bigger and more impressive teak work. Another winner from Mr. Warner.

Expensive but worth it

This is my first Alan Warner effect and I am very pleased with the excellent construction and super clever principal. Alan’s stuff is not cheap, but it is fun to collect and worth the price.

Great Routine and Props!!

Great routine and first class props spells entertaining and fabulous magic. Card and tack disappear and reappear in the open ended cover case attached to the wood plate inside. The method is devious and not exactly as I had envisioned it – I was fooled. The beauty of teak is clearly showcased as this a “large” item compared to Alan’s other pieces in his Mini-Magic range.

Beautiful props but straight forward magic

Selected tablet “penetrates” bar locking all tablets in the open ended case. Simple effect but the props are beautiful and nicely finished. Not one of the strongest effects in the Egyptian line but I wouldn’t have left it out!

Cute and Clever!

The props are, as usual, beautiful to behold. Teak sure has such a wide variation in color and grain that as your Warner collection grows, you begin to wonder if Alan does’nt use other exotic woods. This item has an entertaining story and interesting props – only the case with a “J” is teak. The method is clever and the piece a definite must for the Warner collector.

Simple transposition but great props

The magic is simple – three coins “fly” one by one from one cover to the next. However, I am really impressed by what Alan can do with using wood as the predominant material to perform the magic. The workmanship is impeccable as always. Thanks, Alan.

I love my mommy, I mean mummy!

This masterpiece has long been discontinued and difficult to find on the market; I guess owners are relunctant to part with their mummy and I can understand that. Well I finally got one. Sure, I paid extra for it through ebay but once I had it my hands, I have no regrets. It’s classic Warner craftmanship and my collection sure looks nice with this baby, especially among the other Egyptian pieces. Teak sure makes the item look great and, in Alan’s hand, there is no better master of the woodcraft. Most Highly Recommended!

One of the Warner Signature Pieces!

I have spent two years trying to track this down and finally I got a lead from a fellow ebayer. Alan Warner sadly no longer makes this effect, but this set I picked up was in mint condition and they are beautiful.

The effect is similar to the $link(http://www.martinsmagic.com/?html=full&key=1337, Voit Mummies) with an extra piece of magic where the mummy is seen to actually float in the coffin. Then the transposition of the mummy going from one coffin to the other occurs.

Its a shame that Alan stopped making these, but I am more than a little pleased that I managed to track one down.

Just beautiful and amazing!
